In High Fidelity Mode

I can't sleep, so I did something I've been meaning to do for an awfully long time. I wrote down the final version of my top ten albums of all time....well, sort of. When I was listing my choices, I came up with about twenty or so albums and discovered that they were divided up into two categories: albums released before 1990 and albums released after 1990. So here it is, ladies and gents. Keep in mind that I'm not saying my choices take artistic merit and contribution over various albums that are not on my list. These are simply MY favorite albums. Just because I didn't include Nirvana's "Nevermind" or The Beatles' "Revolver" does not mean that those albums aren't magnificent and important in their own right. Anyway, enough with the chit chat. Here are the lists, in alphabetical order by artist name.

MY TOP TEN ALBUMS RELEASED BEFORE 1990:

Artist Album Title

The Band - "Music From Big Pink"
The Beach Boys - "Pet Sounds
Jackson Browne - "Late For The Sky"
The Clash - "London Calling"
The Cure - "Disintegration"
The Pixies - "Doolittle"
The Rolling Stones - "Let It Bleed"
Bruce Springsteen - "Born To Run"
Steely Dan - "Pretzel Logic"
Thin Lizzy - "Jailbreak"

MY TOP TEN ALBUMS RELEASED AFTER 1990:

The Bouncing Souls - "Hopeless Romantic"
The Dismemberment Plan - "Emergency & I"
Hot Water Music - "Forever And Counting"
Jimmy Eat World - "Bleed American"
Lagwagon - "Let's Talk About Feelings"
Modest Mouse - "The Moon And Antarctica"
Mos Def - "Black On Both Sides"
Outkast - "Aquemini"
Weezer - "Weezer (The Blue Album)"
Wilco - "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot"

Well, I hope you all enjoyed my list-obssessed ramblings. Happy Holidays!

Just something to think about.
